In 1998 neuroscientist Christof Koch bet a case of wine on a breakthrough in consciousness research within 25 years. The philosopher David Chalmers bet against. Now the bet is settled.
Forskning & Framsteg’s Per Snaprud unexpectedly got a role in the wager. The day after the wine changed hands, the three got together. Their conversation was recorded on June 24th 2023 at New York University.
